Terms of Service

1. General Provisions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by TRIO LINGUA (hereinafter: “School”, “we”, “us”) to the student (hereinafter: “Student”, “you”).

By registering for any course or service, the Student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

2. Services

2.1 Course Types

The School provides:

  • Group language courses (online and in-person)
  • Individual (private) lessons
  • Exam preparation programs
  • Additional educational and language-related services

All services are delivered according to the schedule, format, and structure defined at the time of booking and may be subject to reasonable changes.

3. Enrollment and Payment

3.1 Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or agreed deposit.

3.2 Pricing

Prices depend on course type, duration, and format. All prices include teaching materials unless otherwise specified.

3.3 Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include: bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and online payment platforms.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of enrollment.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Student

In the event of cancellation by the Student:

  • A credit note (voucher) for the full amount may be issued for future use, or
  • A refund will be issued minus a 30% administrative fee

No refunds will be issued for missed or unused lessons.

4.2 Cancellation by School

The School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment or other operational reasons. In such cases, the Student may choose between rescheduling or a full refund.

5. Attendance and Rescheduling

Students are responsible for attending scheduled lessons.

Private lessons may be rescheduled if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be considered as completed sessions.

Group lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded in case of absence.

6. Course Modifications

The School reserves the right to:

  • Adjust class schedules
  • Change instructors
  • Modify course structure

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the School may reduce lesson hours or convert group classes into private or semi-private sessions of equivalent value.

7. Public Holidays and Breaks

No classes are held on public holidays.

The School is not obliged to reschedule group lessons missed due to public holidays but may offer compensation in the form of vouchers or alternative arrangements at its discretion.

8. Student Obligations

Students agree to:

  • Respect the School’s rules and code of conduct
  • Behave appropriately during classes and activities
  • Not disrupt the learning environment

The School reserves the right to terminate participation without refund in case of misconduct.

9. Liability

The School shall not be held liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Injuries or damages occurring outside the scope of organized activities
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Students are responsible for any damage caused to School property.

10. Insurance

Students are responsible for arranging their own insurance, including health, travel, and personal property coverage.

11. Intellectual Property

All course materials provided by the School are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR).

13. Photo and Video Consent

The School may use photos and videos taken during classes or events for promotional purposes.

Students may withdraw consent by notifying the School in writing.

14. Force Majeure

The School shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or technical failures.

In such cases, the School reserves the right to reschedule services or provide alternative solutions.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia.

16. Amendments

The School reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
